Our miraculous bodies are our guides and our signposts.  We have disconnected from the inner knowing that they are our trusted barometer; our gages to judge how in-balance we are.  We instead look to outside indicators of our health, our happiness, our well being, when the body knows everything.  It is truly our temple - We’ve simply forgotten how to worship it.
So much seems to point back to the fact that we don’t take the time to connect to our most basic and primal sources of our true knowledge.  This is a crazy and fast moving world in which we live.  We’d rather pop a pill or see a doctor once something has gone wrong, rather than respectfully tuning into the body as the ultimate guide.  Your body will tell you when you are too tired, when you are eating in an imbalanced way, when you are not providing it with enough exercise, when stress is so debilitating that it’s damaging your cells one by one, and sapping your life-force.
Much like the disconnect with nature and the natural world that we’re experiencing, the disconnection with the body, slaps the face of the most ancient wisdom.  We ignore it at our peril.  If we listen and hear the whispers, it will guide us to health, a sense of peace, and toward the power of our most basic life force.
