We have grown up with the idea that we are inherently creative beings or we are not ….Most of believing that we are not.  Creativity is an innate and integral part of our who we are.  It is not a talent, although it can manifest itself as that.  Creativity is a letting go - a natural expression of ourselves that becomes a visible outpouring of our life’s energy into the world. With each expression of that unique creativity, the world is changed.  We don’t think of ourselves as having that power in the world, but we do.  Each time we are bold enough to unleash our creativity onto the world, there is shift - a person, a situation, a place, is moved by exposure to that creative force.  Our gift is that beauty - that reflection of our creative selves into the world and reciprocally, we are showered  back with magnificence.   

Every dawn, every end-of-day, brings the opportunity to examine the life we are living, particularly whether we are directing the dance of our lives or if we are forgetting the full dance and are lost in the basic steps. The glory of our lives sits in the ability for us to fully experience the expansiveness of ourselves, not simply to live small bits of who we are. When the grasp of unrest overwhelms us, it is often because the full expression of who we are is being stifled by taking baby steps in order to reach some artificial state of fulfillment.

When the fierce need to be utterly alive grips us, it is often at the expense of living a small and fearful life. When your overriding reason for living is to fully step out into the world and hold nothing back of who you are, everything slips into place and life is frictionless.

The physical world is complex and littered with land mines, that can only be maneuvered around by walking in the world of heart and spirit. No true fulfillment lies in the physical world. The glory of why we are alive is so multidimentional, that to ignore even a fraction of who we are, leaves an empty craving for something unknown. Opening to the full expression of ourselves, letting the fears slip aside, and living with an electrifying aliveness, is the road we are meant to walk; the ocean we are meant to effortlessly sail.
